Basha Projects is a collection of Regine Basha’s curatorial output, including her writings, videos, exhibitions and public interventions.
We wanted to design a container for the works which was subtle, but also a little idiosyncratic. There’s a refinement to the look of dusty rose pink and Helvetica Light, but this gentility is undercut by the aggressively proportioned type and image.
Users on Chrome/Firefox browsers will see the exclusion effect create unexpected color overlays when the menu is activated. We liked the idea of emphasizing this separate Basha layer. You could say it’s metaphor speaking to the role of a curator, both attached yet separated from the artwork being shown.
